Consisted of four separate sheets of 100% cotton paper hand-printed in three colours; Grey, Black and Brine by vintage letterpress using original wooden type blocks dating from the 1940’s. Laid end on end they can make up a frame 2.1m long – a fisherman’s fathom. Used the old Finisterre sea region rather than Fitzroy. Supplied in posh buckram box with numbered certificate of authenticity. Printed in a limited edition of 25 for Ben Pentreath Limited. Signed and numbered. Framing shown: solid ash hand-painted with Farrow and Ball Plummet (mid-grey).
